Discover the Magic of Vermeer: An Exhibition not to be Missed

Knowing that I will likely not be able to see the unique Vermeer exhibition that opens today in Amsterdam, I visited the Mauritshuis museum in The Hague when I was recently in the Netherlands. It is one of my favorite museums in the world, and I can highly recommend it to all readers of this newsletter to visit it if you ever get the chance to go there. The Mauritshuis exhibits some of the best-known paintings by the Dutch master Johannes Vermeer, and I know that for some people, it must be a dream come true to see some of his famous paintings in person. And I admit that I am a fan too. Over the years, I have used my visits abroad to see as many of his paintings as possible and have seen them in Amsterdam, London, New York City, Washington D.C., and Vienna.
