Today, new Mac users want a computer – not MacOS

<p>You may have read my Intel Mac stories about how exciting it was to switch from a PC to a shiny new Mac in 2006 and 2007. But, why am I wording it &rdquo;how exciting&nbsp;<strong>it was</strong>&rdquo; instead of &rdquo;how exciting&nbsp;<strong>it is</strong>&rdquo;? This is a complex topic and it will take some time to explain what I mean. I&rsquo;m going to go through a&nbsp;<em>LOT</em>&nbsp;of historical reasons how PCs defined what a computer is, why in recent times we have seen PC users buying Mac hardware but seemingly (anecdotally) never caring for MacOS.
