What is Low Vision — and why does it matter?

As a founder with low vision, who also works in the low vision space, I’m confronted with confusion, as well as the lack of public awareness surrounding low vision, on a near-hourly basis. Although this does add a layer of challenge to my work, how can we blame people for misunderstanding a system they’ve never had to interact with?
