<p>In the beginning, in the ‘beginning’, this is the gate to the Lord, the righteous shall enter into it (Psalms 118:20). This is the gate of the righteous, who have permission to ascend there, and the others who are not righteous are pushed away from there. There are inscribed and depicted the forms of the higher and lower beings, the form of a man inscribed there, and it is the form of a man. The form of a lion is there on the right, and the form of an ox on the left, and the form of an eagle in the middle, and the secret of the word and the form of their faces are the face of a man, and the face of a lion to the right for all four of them, etc. (Ezekiel 1:10). For each living creature has four faces, these four are the faces of the Holy Name of the Lord, shining in them. The king of all these creatures is man, who is Yod-He-Vav-He, who rises in a single count. The form of this man is the Holy Shekhina, which is His image.</p>
