Alice — Italian Seafood & Lobster Bar

I wasn’t surprised when I read the Page Six article that Madonna had a rare outing with her kids on Mother’s Day at Alice. Alice is a restaurant potentially on the verge of breaking out from beloved neighborhood spot to destination restaurant for the two T’s, TikToker’s and tourists. A recent visit from the “Queen of Pop” surely indicates that this transformation may be underway. Alice bravely and quietly opened in November 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic and despite the challenging timing, it has been building a loyal following of locals from the neighborhood. The restaurant is in the former Gradisca space in Chelsea on west 13th street.
