“Honey, the Shampoo’s Frozen Again” or How to Survive the Boston Winter While Living on a Boat
<p>Waking up in the morning after the first particularly chilly night to realize that every bottle of liquid in your floating home, including the actual water pipes, got frozen overnight is generally not a particularly welcome surprise.</p>
<p>On a morning like this it’s easy to ponder if choosing to spend a frigid Boston winter on a boat was perhaps not as much of a romantic notion as it seemed in the late Summer.</p>
<p>Then again, nobody said that it’d be a walk in the park — so we handled the situation as we could: adjust to the circumstances, learn from it and figure out how to do better next time.</p>
