Are Linguistics Classes Hard?
<p>As someone who has always been fascinated by the intricacies of human language, I jumped at the opportunity to take linguistics classes in university.</p>
<p>But let me be real with you — those classes were no walk in the park.</p>
<p>And I can honestly say that I had <strong><em>vastly</em></strong> underestimated just what I was getting myself into. <strong><em>*insert strained chuckle*</em></strong></p>
<p>You’re probably wondering why I didn’t just study English.</p>
<p>It was mainly because it seemed a bit too surface level and “frou frou” (no offense). I like to analyse things and I enjoy reasoning; therefore, in my 17 year-old-mind, linguistics was perfect.</p>
