Let’s Talk Honestly About DeSantis’ Horrific Record

Living under Ron DeSantis has been a living nightmare. Take it from me, a Floridian. If you don’t understand why I say that, keep reading. I’ve been keeping a record. But I’ve also always been fair, as you’ll soon see. As a Floridian, DeSantis scares the hell out of me. But at the same time, the media has often accused DeSantis of things that either weren’t true, or, were completely misrepresented. As someone who’s worked in politics for over 10 years, I can say from experience that what any media outlet says about politics is distorted in some way. Surprisingly, it’s not always their fault. It’s easy to assume it’s intentional or bias. Often, it’s neither. The public constantly misunderstands politics. Lies, biases, and misrepresentations abound. We don’t need the media to distort our politics. I think we’ve all had that friend who embellished every single story to make it more interesting than it really is. Misinformation is everywhere.
