The Arrival of Korean Jesus
<p>Perhaps you remember the Mayan’s apocalyptic prediction of the world. Or do you think of the tragedy that was Sandy Hook? What about North Korea’s first missile launched towards the US west coast? How about the solar flare that narrowly missed the world by 9 days?</p>
<p>No doubt 2012 was like any other year in the States, a year on fire. But in August, for about 4 minutes and 12 seconds, the world forgot about its troubles. For 4 minutes and 12 seconds, a Korean idol in sunglasses would dance over the language barrier and spread funky, contagious joy. One could even say he gave the world a momentary “Psy” of relief.</p>
