<p>First, the record-setting Bruins go down in first-round flames. And then a night later in the same building, not to be outdone, the heavily-favored Sybil Celtics blow Game 1 to the Joel Embiid-less Sixers. TD Garden has now become a House of Horrors for the home teams; a place where raucous anticipation takes a back seat to nervous foreboding. Hopefully, for all our sakes, the Garden Mojo can course correct soon.</p>
<p>But while the B’s and C’s have their fans tied in emotional knots, across town there’s a fun little story brewing that represents the opposite end of team-building evolution.</p>
<p>The plucky underdog Boston Red Sox, led by a bunch of hungry kids eager to prove themselves, find themselves two games over .500 at 16–14 — one game better than the New York Yankees as we get into the second month of the season. Last night, in case you missed it, the Sox staged a gritty, come-from-behind 6–5 walk-off win over division rival Toronto.</p>
