My Journey of Recovery from Addiction
<p>One of the reasons I’m so passionate about recovery is because something that literally almost got me killed has been the most powerful source of transformation and blessing in my life.</p>
<p>I have immense respect for people in recovery. An addict who has overcome their addiction is more successful to me than any financially successful person I know. Most people have to manage the daily stresses of life, work and relationships, but addicts have to manage all of those, plus another life (the inner addict) — and that is a full-time job in itself. So anyone who is an addict and successful in their career is double successful.</p>
