“Iraq: Echoes of the Euphrates — A Journey to My Father’s Homeland”

Two months ago, with a heart heavy, with anticipation and curiosity, I embarked on an odyssey to Iraq, the ancient land from which my father hailed. Our expedition began in Baghdad, a city steeped in the melting pot of Mesopotamian history, where the Tigris River flowed like a vein of life through the heart of civilization.

Amidst the bustling streets and markets of Baghdad, I found myself enchanted by the vibrant blend of past and present, where ancient mosques stood side by side with modern skyscrapers, a testament to the enduring spirit of this storied city. But what truly captivated me was the warmth and hospitality of the people, who welcomed us with open arms and generous hearts.
