The One That Says “iPad Pro”

I’m just back from a few weeks traveling overseas. While abroad, I realized that the machine which I was using the most I actually hadn’t written a word about yet: the M2 iPad Pro. The reason why is simple: it’s really not any different than the M1 iPad Pro.¹

Now I know a lot of people say this about a lot of Apple devices. But I’m not a lot of people. I’ve spent a good portion of my career writing thousands of words about the yearly iterations of Apple devices. But I’m not doing that here because there simply is no point. The two devices really are basically identical. If there’s a difference in the chip speeds from the M1 to M2, it’s not discernable in daily use. Again, I’ve been using this device on a daily basis for a few months now. Did it not have the words “iPad Pro” emblazoned on the back, instead of the simple “iPad” which the M1 iPad Pro had, I would not be able to tell the difference between the two.
