RSC’s ‘My Neighbour Totoro’ review: An Inclusive, Impressive Stage

Great news! The stage version of My Neighbour Totoro won six Olivier Awards. My Neighbour Totoro, a Ghibli film, was adapted for the stage in London last year. Joe Hisaishi, who wrote the music for the film, is the executive producer, and the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) and Nippon TV co-produced the production. The number of tickets sold on the opening day broke the Barbican Theatre’s record, and Totoro literally took London by storm.
