How Arts Institutions can become more accessible through Immersive Technologies

However, hundreds of millions of people face barriers when it comes to accessing these institutions. <p>Access to culture is a driving factor for healthy democracies (Council of Europe, 2017), the reduction of discrimination (Jermyn, 2001), social inclusion and is fundamental for psychological well-being (O’Neill, 2010). The opportunity to participate in culture is even a human right (Article 27.1, Universal Declaration of Human Rights, 1948).</p>
