Immersing in Innovation: An introduction to XR user experience design

<p>On the other hand, these technologies offer immense opportunities to push the boundaries of creativity and interactivity. They promise to transform abstract concepts into tangible experiences, overlay digital information onto our physical world, and create a sense of presence and engagement that is difficult to achieve with traditional screen-based interfaces.</p> <p>Experts predict that over the next 5 to 10 years, 3D digital design will become as commonly used as 2D design is today.</p> <p>Just as photography, desktop publishing, and the internet have become ubiquitous, the expectation is that 3D design tools and services will become widespread and easy to use.</p> <blockquote> <p>In a future where 3D design becomes commonplace, UX design will play an even more important role in shaping these immersive experiences and unlocking the full potential of VR and AR technologies.</p> </blockquote> <p>Coming from a web and mobile design background and inspired by the potential of immersive 3D technologies &mdash; particularly in the wake of Apple&rsquo;s new Vision Pro &mdash; I didn&rsquo;t know how to get started with XR design.
