I’m a fashion designer by profession. Making the most of being furloughed (two years ago now!) had me sit and apply some UX to what I do. I’ve read widely on the subject and even shadowed a UX team around freelancing jobs in the past. As of yet, however, I’ve not come across user flow diagrams as anything more than a tool for designers and associated teams to understand and explore processes. Never a tool used to screen ideas with the users. When the opportunity to do so arose for myself I wondered why this was. A few online searches later and still no insight, I thought why not just get mine in front of users and see?
