Between the White of Icy Glaciers and the Green of Lush Forests

Coming around the corner, I looked up to my right and saw the blinding white standing out between the lush green forests covering the slopes below. It was a contrast I didn’t expect to see. It’s been a long day. The alarm had been ringing before 6 am and our day at work was challenging as we had to deal with temperatures below -20°C at 15,000 feet and had very turbulent and ever-changing winds under the canopy.
