I Think Maybe Cooking Isn’t Our Real Problem

<p>Do you think it odd that people who have never made a waffle from scratch in their lives will make a waffle when they&rsquo;re staying at a hotel?</p> <p>I love to imagine how this came about. Some earnest, hopeful waffle lover got an appointment with the Big Hotel People and sold the hell out of this idea.</p> <blockquote> <p><em>&ldquo;This waffle maker is a must for your guests! Even though they can barely be arsed to pop a frozen waffle into a toaster at home, I think if they&rsquo;re on vacation or taking a business trip they are definitely going to be into making their own waffle for breakfast.&rdquo;</em></p> </blockquote> <p>And the thing was, this waffle visionary was right!
