I Completed All 8 Advents of Code in One Go: Here Are the Lessons I Learned.

Last December, I completed my first Advent Of Code: 2022. Before that, I had a total of something like six stars for the past seven years. But this year, we created a private leaderboard at Docker, and it motivated me to go as far as possible.

For those unfamiliar with the Advent Of Code, one small word: it’s an advent calendar of programming puzzles. Every year since 2015, Eric Wastl released in December a new puzzle each day until day 25. In general, the puzzles get more difficult over time.

Because I had so much fun last December, beginning of 2023, I decided to challenge myself: try to complete all the previous years and reach all the possible stars. After 34,281 lines of code written (tests not included), I wanted to write a post describing all the lessons I learned throughout this genuinely amazing experience
