Did you know that there has only been one Hip-Hop album released in 2023 to reach #1 on Billboard?

News of Hip-Hop’s death has been greatly exaggerated. With only one rap album, Lil Uzi Vert’s “Pink Tape” hitting #1 on the Billboard charts so far in 2023, and big-name rappers struggling to sell tour tickets, you have to wonder — is it time to call the coroner for Hip-Hop?
