<p>Hindu Calendar was originally known as the Hindu Panchang (हिन्दू पंचांग) which was specifically made for India by an Indian King, named King Vikramaditya in the year 57 BCE. To mention in layman’s terms, the calendar came into existence 57 years before the birth of Jesus.</p>
