Is A Top Ever Worth Over $100?

As I scroll on the Real Real or Thread Up I often search for the brand “Reformation.” If you haven’t heard of Reformation then you are in for a real treat. A common theme of this store is the price. It is very expensive. And for such simple designs, it is hard to get myself to ever buy anything that isn’t second-hand. I’m not sure I have ever spent more than $50 for a top and that was a sweater. Otherwise, I buy second-hand or don’t buy anything at all. It SHOCKED me to find that this simple linen shirt cost $128. Yes, you read that right, $128.
