Getting To The Wind Tower In Tears Of The Kingdom Was Gruelling Fun

Maybe I am a bit of a masochist when it comes to playing video games as I sometimes stick it out during gruelling sections even if I am not having fun. For example, I am a bit lukewarm when it comes to From Software games, but despite this, I have completed all their Soulsborne games. I will say that I did genuinely love Sekiro though. Perhaps I also just wanted to complete those games as a badge of honour, I am not entirely sure.

I guess it doesn’t matter, though, but I have used the same lack of thinking to reach the wind temple in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. There will be spoilers for this section of the game. The game suggests you head to the Wind Temple first which I obliged. When I arrived at the Rito Village to begin the questline, everything is frozen over because there is a huge storm in the clouds causing problems.

At this point in the game, I didn’t have enough cash without selling far too many resources to be happy with to buy the cold armour to protect myself from getting hurt. Money in general is quite scarce in this game and Breath of the Wild. In Breath of the Wild however, I was able to skirt around this issue by simply cooking a few cold resistance food items as it isn’t an overly big section.
