How Dangerous is “Gotham City, Ontario?”
<p>The culture of fear permeating Toronto’s streets has been spiralling for years, but in the last 6 months, it seems to have reached a fever pitch.</p>
<p>Despite this, Rick Leary, the CEO of the TTC, says that the <a href="https://www.cp24.com/mobile/news/ttc-ceo-admits-people-are-nervous-to-use-public-transit-amid-recent-violent-incidents-1.6335538?cache=s" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">use of the controversial transit system has remained mostly consistent</a>. In the article linked above, he seems to imply that since people are still using the TTC, it can’t be as bad as its public image. He neglects to understand that most people using it have no other choice.</p>
