<p>Karl noticed that Chris looked ill again a week later as Karl walked into the diner and made his way to the counter where Chris stood. Chris&rsquo; head was slightly bowed as though the weight of it was too much for his own neck to bear. Karl frowned, worry and concern spiking ever more strongly through him at the sight. After all, it hadn&rsquo;t been the first time that he had noticed his friend in a bad way, yet Chris seemed worse than usual that night.
