<h1>1. Create Billing alert</h1>
<p>First, you want to make sure your cost are under control. Go to this <a href="https://console.cloud.google.com/billing" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">link</a> and create a budget alert. Be careful as this will not cap or limit your spending.</p>

<p>Go to “<strong>Budgets & alerts</strong>”, let all the default options and fill the name and the amount. I personally went for $5/month.</p>
