Love in the Garden of Eden

Astime goes by, I’m slipping evermore into the mould. The long summer has come to an end. The clouds will be cast over, but my heart shall stay warm. Nursed by knowing.

I would walk in ancient woods. Laying on foreign soil. The dampness of meshy leaves on the palms of my hands reminds me that life goes on. That redemption can be found in the strangest of places. My spirit lifts me from the undergrowth to the canopy. Love lifts me.

You hold my hand as we pick the blackberries. Feed me. Nourish me. The forest is the trigger of life. Where the birds sing, and the foxes cry. I cry no tears here. There are only smiles from these once pursed lips so desperate to tell you of my love. Yes. I do love you.

Website
