Learnings from my First Game Dev Experience

<p>18 months ago, I decided to learn about game development. I set a goal for myself to finish my first project and release it no matter what, in order to learn as much as possible about the process of creating and launching a video game. My game is not among the best on the market, and it&rsquo;s not even complete yet. But I believe I&rsquo;ve learned some things that will be useful for my next project, and I hope they might be helpful to you as well. I have heard many times that one of the main problems for novice developers is over-scoping. So, I started my first project by repeating to myself, &ldquo;I&rsquo;ll do something small.&rdquo; The challenge lies in how to plan something &ldquo;small&rdquo; if you&rsquo;ve never done it before.
