The Future of Dublin: Obscene Walking WomenFuture

Healthy Trinity have asked me to talk about some of the work I’ve been doing in Inchicore to engage local people on transport projects like Busconnects and Covid Mobility.

Before I get into that, I’ll begin with some of my favourite ideas from my time as a Trinity Arts student. I graduated in 2008 and in my final year specialised in three areas: James Joyce’s Ulysses, Contemporary Irish poetry, and Greek Tragedy.

I find these texts really useful when thinking about what is possible for the future of Dublin, and why everyone needs to be involved in that effort to create a living city.
