Why the French Make Fun of Belgians — They’re Just Like Us!

<p>I love comedies, and one of my all-time favorite comedies is the 1998 French comedy film,<em>&nbsp;Le D&icirc;ner de Cons</em>. With the majority of the film being shot in one location, use of rapid-fire dialogue, witty wordplay, and superb acting, sometimes that&rsquo;s all it takes to make a good film.</p> <p>There was a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4K_3aq2dChU" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">particular scene</a>&nbsp;where one of the main characters named Fran&ccedil;ois Pignon was solicited by the other main character to call a writer friend to inquire about his wife&rsquo;s whereabouts.
