Startups are promoted, celebrated, and receive extensive media coverage.</p> <p>French startups operate in a variety of&nbsp;<strong>sectors</strong>. Fintech, foodtech, edtech, healthtech, biotech, you name it. Wine, tourism, luxury goods, art, real estate. Especially promising, thanks to France&rsquo;s strong reputation in mathematics and engineering, is the so-called&nbsp;<strong>deep-tech</strong>, encompassing such fields as AI, data science, and machine learning.
