On July 28 all sysadmins will celebrate their professional holiday — Sysadmin Day or System Administrator Appreciation Day. This holiday was first celebrated in 2000 and was invented by system administrator Ted Kekatos. In one of his interviews, he talks about it in detail. Since then, the holiday has been celebrated annually at the end of July.
