Forgotten History: Thousands of Enslaved African American Bodies Found in Mississippi
<p>When you think about concentration camps, the first thing that probably comes to mind is Nazi Germany. But, America had a concentration camp of its own. And its story is so horrifying, it’s been erased from history.</p>

<p>But, here, there is a dirty secret that’s been intentionally buried by historians and mainstream media. American death camps. Thousands of freed Black slaves were held in this concentration camp and treated in the most gruesome ways possible. Experts estimate that in just 1 year, more than 20,000 free Black people died here.</p>
