<p>Over the past decade, it has been a pleasure to witness the increasing prominence of women’s football and the recognition it deserves. I have coached both women’s and girls’ teams during this time, and I’ve observed the resilience and talent that is on par, if not better, than some men’s teams.</p>
<p>However, regrettably, the sport is still predominantly governed by men, and many decisions, especially those affecting women, are made by men.</p>
<p>Indeed, these long, winding corridors of influence are dominated by men, controlling women’s football and shaping the most crucial decisions. Some men might argue that gender shouldn’t matter in football, as the sport remains the same whether you are a man or a woman.</p>
