My Thai Food Experiences

I had only ever heard of pad thai, and had actually never tried it before moving to Asia in 2016. I am a lover of all food, really, (at the time I kinda hated eggplant), with cereal of all things being a top choice. In those first three days, I think I ate an apple and a yogurt from 7/11. I was not doing the best, but I knew I had to force myself to eat and start immersing myself into the local and slightly intimidating culture.

Good ol’ Mcdick’s

Try as I might, at the beginning I really struggled to let go of my Westernized ways. I had located a mall of sorts almost right beside my new workplace called Big C, which I frequented often as there was a McDonald’s there. My relationship with this controversial restaurant is hilarious to me.
