Flag and fury: the hypocrisy of Alan Jones
<p>If you don’t live on Twitter or listen to Sydney talkback radio station 2GB (basically, you’re not a sadist) then odds are you missed a stunning moment of hypocrisy on Friday morning.</p>
<p>Bloviating shock jock Alan Jones shouted down NSW Opposition Leader Luke Foley over a policy announcement he’d made that morning, going on to tweet that such a policy was “the most divisive thing I’ve heard from a political leader.”</p>
<p>Big call right? So what proposed policy caused Jones to erupt in characteristically Vesuvian fashion?</p>
<p>A proposal to fly the Aboriginal flag alongside the Australian flag on the Sydney Harbour Bridge.</p>
