<p>For example, if telling the truth would lead to unjust consequences or harm to others, what should we do? According to the meaning of right speech, if telling the truth would have these consequences, then we should not even speak the “truth.” When speaking the truth, we must consider the potential impact of these words, and whether the timing is appropriate, among other factors.</p>
