My Thoughts on IGN’s “Pikmin 4: The Final Preview”

<p>Transient reactions to the latest entry in a series I&rsquo;ve loved perennially</p> <p><img alt="" src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:875/1*NUaxslnPJLNhucOdIWk5Ag.jpeg" style="height:700px; width:700px" /></p> <p>I&rsquo;ve been an avid fan of Nintendo&rsquo;s eccentric Pikmin series since I was in the 7th grade. My first proper introduction to the series was through Chuggaconroy&rsquo;s walkthroughs on Youtube. I first learned about the series through&nbsp;<em>Super Smash Bros. Brawl</em>, where I got to see Olimar and his Pikmin featured as fighters. My first impression was that Pikmin was weird and gross. I didn&rsquo;t like the Pikmin&rsquo;s dead, doll-like eyes. Olimar repulsed me.</p> <p>However, after watching Chuggaconroy&rsquo;s reviews religiously, I came to appreciate Pikmin for its pastoral landscapes, quirky enemy designs, modernist soundtrack, and Olimar&rsquo;s profound insights as expressed in his pedantic Piklopedia notes.</p> <p><a href="https://medium.com/@rossdcrow/my-thoughts-on-igns-pikmin-4-the-final-preview-78c21388fb11"><strong>Click Here</strong></a></p>
