It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year Until a Fight Breaks Out
<p>My former mother-in-law rushed through the front door. Her glasses were askew, one of her cheeks was red, and she didn’t make eye contact with anyone. Two of her sons shared a look, then stood and quickly followed her into the kitchen to find out what was happening.</p>
<p>The scene unfolded like something you’d see in a bad holiday movie, and to this day, I’m still shocked by it.</p>
<p>It turns out she got into a fight with one of her daughters-in-law out in the driveway. Everyone in the family rallied around the matriarch, and one of her boys threatened to find his sister-in-law and even the score.</p>
