When Your Favourite Rapper Becomes Antisemitic
<p>Huh? My immediate reaction was somewhere in between a kind of dissociative shock and denial. After all, it wouldn’t have been the first time that Pitchfork misled me with some melodramatic sweeping claim in a headline about a situation that was much more complex in reality.</p>
<p>And even if Kanye West <em>appeared </em>to write something antisemitic on Twitter, it must just all be a misunderstanding, right? Maybe he was aiming for provocation like he tends to do but got a bit carried away this time. Maybe he’s in another one of his mental health downward spirals and just said something he shouldn’t have? It can’t be that bad…</p>
