Today, we’re happy to tell you that we’ve debuted <a href="https://slangapp.com/courses/fashion-textile-design" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank"><em>Fashion & Textile Design English</em></a>,<em> </em>and we’re excited to tell you more about it.</p>
<p>Perhaps you’re already familiar with some basic terms from design English, like <em>runway</em> or <em>fashion designer</em>, but you might still be unaware of other technical terms from the English of this profession, like <strong><em>dart, drape, hem, lace, trim, dress form, seam allowance, bleed, blend, </em></strong>and <strong><em>press</em></strong>. How many of these English terms from the textile world had you already heard? It’s examples like this that show how knowing <strong>general</strong> English and understanding <strong>professional</strong> English are not the same thing at all.</p>
