The Japan No One Knows. Five clans of fallen warriors.

Tranquility, as if it were enshrining an ancestor.
To my surprise, there was a small little Inari-sama sitting behind the main shrine.

The innermost part of the shrine is supposed to enshrine the most important one.

It does not look like an Inari-sama, so it might actually be a different deity.
Or perhaps it is an old deity that has been enshrined here since before the five tribes of fallen warriors arrived.
There are so many mysteries in this shrine.

When I visit shrines in Tokyo, I am often amazed at the sanctuaries that have been protected by the people.
Flood, fire, earthquake, war, and worship.
Small shrines, shrines perched on the rooftops of buildings, and shrines directly under expressways.
