Review — Fae Farm

Fae Farm is a farming simulator with fantasy and role playing elements and is published and developed by Phoenix Labs. This Canadian studio, formed by previous developers of Bioware, Riot Games, Capcom and Blizzard Entertainment, only has one other project delivered so far: Dauntless.

Fae Farm had caught my attention ever since it was revealed in a Nintendo Direct. Apparently I want to start anew elsewhere and travel to a small island that will become my home base for my next adventure. The inhabitants are glad to set me up with a house, a farm to start off with and all of my basic needs. When I got all of that for free, I was constantly suspicious, expecting some Tom C̶r̶o̶o̶k̶ Nook to ask me to repay all of my debts.
