Lack of Adab is the Silence in the Face of Genocide!

Adab أدب Spiritually oriented courtesies and calls to avoid spreading “Fitna,” divisions or rancorous discourses within communities, have been deployed across the Muslim world to urge people into silence about the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza that, so far, killed 14,132 with approximately 70% being children and women.

Let's say unequivocally that the ADAB, in the face of a Genocide, is to speak and do whatever in one’s capacity to stop it. The least that one can do is not to add to the pain and suffering of the Palestinians by the instrumental deployment of self-selected readings of Islamic traditions and to use it as a metaphorical spear in the back of the Palestinians while urging everyone to remain silent and stay at home. The Islamic tradition is a voiced tradition that brings deep faith with needed and timely action. The highest form of struggle is a voiced statement/stand of truth/justice/veracity in front of or in the presence of a tyrant.
