Execution Pace Has Slowed Dramatically
<p>The rapid pace of Oklahoma executions set during John O’Connor’s time as Oklahoma Attorney General has slowed dramatically.</p>
<p>Oklahoma recently led the nation with <a href="https://deathpenaltyinfo.org/executions/upcoming-executions" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">13 scheduled executions</a>, when only three other states had any scheduled at all: Ohio, which has nine on the calendar, plus Texas and Alabama with one each. But most of Oklahoma’s executions are set to be rescheduled, and the next one on the calendar has been postponed.</p>
