An Education I Needed, and Still Need
<p>I have never seen <em>Juno</em>. I begin with that fact. I’m not entirely sure why, but it feels relevant. One, because it’s a movie I know I would love; it just happens to be one of the <em>many</em> I know I would love but have still never taken the time to see.</p>
<p>Two, because when I first learned that Elliot Page had transitioned, one of my first thoughts was, “Am I not allowed to see <em>Juno</em> now? Did I miss the opportunity? And what about people who already love the movie? How are they supposed to think about it now?”</p>
<p>I guess my overall thought was, who <em>is/was </em>Ellen Page now that Elliot Page exists?</p>
