No Border Walls, the Plus Side of Tearing Down Fences
<p>“Something there is that doesn’t love a wall…” wrote Robert Frost. “…That wants it down.”</p>
<p>That ‘something’ is probably nature. Or other beings who like freedom. Or, gravity. Or those wishing to invest in foreign diplomacy to reduce the increasing numbers of fleeing migrants.</p>
<p>Or, a frustrated and desperate fawn that couldn’t jump the fence to join her impatient herd.</p>
<p>People have concerns. But, for now, let’s think about roaming <a href="https://e360.yale.edu/features/border-walls-animals-climate-change" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">animals</a>. Wildlife needs space, or we will wall in, or wall out, diversity itself.</p>
