… The succession of Texas like South Carolina is likely not in the near future. Yet, I feel a change in state leadership is needed. The Texas electorate had a chance to get off the train to fascism with<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beto_O%27Rourke" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank"> Beto O’Rourke</a> in 2022 but that fell short of winning by nine points in the final vote. The simple fact that since the embrace of white supremacy by the Republican Party/GOP Texas is a dead red state will endure. That will only change when the ruling government allows the people’s voices to be heard without the muzzle of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerrymandering" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Gerrymandering</a>.
