<p>However, <em>Desperate Housewives</em> proved to viewers for a total of eight seasons that there’s no such thing as one universal housewife in terms of attitude and fashion.</p>
<p>Each housewife challenged common stereotypes and the mundane nature of suburbia. I mean, where else can you find a group of moms burying a body or solving murders in their neighbourhood?</p>
